Suzanne's MAG-O journey as a Solution Architect

We caught up with Suzanne, who’s just joined MAG-O as a Solution Architect, to talk about her career journey.

We started chatting about her previous experience and what attracted her to the role at MAG-O.

‘In my previous role I was an Implementation and Data Consultant working in the payments industry, so I have a good understanding of data management and ETL (extract, transform, load). I moved to this role as I wanted to use my cloud knowledge and influence the architecture and design of a product rather than helping clients onboard an in-house system’. We’re thrilled to welcome Suzanne’s skill set to our growing team at MAG-O.

What makes MAG-O such an appealing company to work for? ‘The teams are really close, a lot like little families! Everyone is so nice, and we just get things done. We also have weekly show and tells which really help’.

So how do we do things differently to help ideas flow within the team? ‘The teams use ‘spikes’ when mind mapping ideas for the website, this is to try the latest and greatest processes first to see what works, and what needs more focus’.

Away from the MAG-O office, Suzanne is a keen gamer (Diablo 3 and Fallout in particular) and plays in a brass band during her spare time.

If like Suzanne you live and breathe tech, then we want to hear from you.

New roles and graduate positions will be released in the next few weeks.
